Thanks so much to The Shawna Shea Film Festival for selecting my feature script, Presence*! This is the first feature script I’ve had in a festival, and I can’t think of a better one than SSFF.
It’s a simple, tense horror script that was conceived during the filming of H.P. Lovecraft’s Celephaïs. Celephaïs was very intricate and complex, and Presence is the exact opposite.
This selection is extra-special because I wrote one of the roles for the late Tony Todd. We bonded over Celephaïs and had planned to work again. Hopefully I can make it someday and honor his memory.
