A new project has entered pre-production!
Pendulum is a cyberpunk, dark-fantasy, romantic drama starring Romeo Goyette, Hannah Kelly and Dhanya Lott. The short film is the debut of Producer and Co-writer Julie Anne Millspaugh.
There are several elements of ideas from other projects that didn’t come to fruition that I added to Pendulum. Those were inspired by the films of the French New Wave like The 400 Blows and Terry Gilliam’s Brazil. I like throwing those ingredients into a blender and seeing what delicious cinema frappe I can make.
The world of Pendulum was also inspired by one of the masters of cinema, writer, director and avant-garde artist David Lynch, who recently passed away. My approach to Pendulum was that of an artist, reaching back to my early days of filmmaking when I attended school for the fine arts.
